In 2025 Cowsert Heath welcomed our newest associate, Jacob Walker-Fairchild to the firm. His primary focus is civil litigation and insurance defense.
Jacob graduated from Clemson University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management before attending the University of Georgia School of Law. During his time at UGA Jacob was appointed Vice President of the Labor and Employment Law Association and was a member of UGA’s mock trial team. He also spent time working for Araoz & Rueda, where he served as a law clerk in Madrid, Spain, for attorneys practicing business and commercial litigation before graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2025.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Jacob now lives in Athens with his wife, Eva, who is on track to graduate in 2027 with her DVM from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Their home includes their dog and 4 cats, and they are very excited to have welcomed their first child in June of 2026!
